5 Essentials for Fall

I love it when it’s a new season around the corner. It means changing up of outfits, pulling out those clothes you stashed under your bed the year before, new drinks at Starbucks and a fresh chance to try something new! With the arrival of Fall, it also means beautiful colours, darker lipsticks and my new favourite: the Pumpkin Spice latte. I also have 5 essentials that I have for fall every year and these are items that are always in season. Keep reading to find out what they are!

My favourite jacket during the fall is a leather jacket from Zara. I got this as a birthday gift from my sister 2 years ago. The jacket isn’t sold anymore but I love that it’s always in style. The jacket has a peplum skirt at the bottom, it adds a bit of femininity to any outfit.

Next I have to talk about my constant accessory – my Olivia Burton watch in Navy and Rose Gold with a floral dial. The watch isn’t sold anymore but my watch is what I wear year round and is especially suitable for this time of the year.

When it comes to make up, I love pulling out my favourite Studded Kiss Lipstick, Prayer by Kat Von D that I discovered last fall. I wish I could wear it all year long but I save it for Fall, when it goes perfectly with any fall outfit of mine!

Continuing in the topic of make-up, I recently discovered the beauty and benefits of highlighter. As someone with darker skin, when light hits my face, highlighter has been my best friend. I use Becca’s Topaz Shimmering Skin Perfector which I bought from Sephora.

My favourite booties for the season are from Call it Spring, which I bought over a year ago. I loved them so much I got them in two colours: brown and black. The brown goes with any outfit and perfectly with a pair of jeans. My black ones I save for when I wear more leather and black.

What are your fall essentials? Any tips on great lipstick colours for the season?
