The second stop on our honeymoon in Europe was Madrid. Compared to our trip to Barcelona, Madrid had less history but had a more urban vibe. The city hosts large businesses, is cleaner and feels safer. However, the weather was freezing and we spent our mornings layering up all our clothes to keep warm because we hadn’t prepared for 0 degree weather.
Regardless, we managed to capture some scenic shots because we really thought Madrid was gorgeous during their November weather. Some of our highlights were the Royal Palace of Madrid (3400 rooms!), Parque del Retiro, Templo de Debod and stunning views of the city. I highly recommend checking out the Museo Nacional del Prado as well!

The Templo de Debod is an ancient Egyptian temple that was donated to Madrid by the Egyptians.
The oldest restaurant in the world, the Botin Restaurant. It has the Guiness Book of World Records certificate to prove it!

We went to wild soccer game in Europe featuring Athletico Madrid and PCG. The vibe and rivalry was amazing to see.
